Umpqua Valley Festival of Lights

The Umpqua Valley Festival of Lights, an annual Douglas County tradition, draws 25,000 visitors each year, generating funds for Rotary Club initiatives. Running from November 19th, 2023, to January 1st, 2024, at River Forks Park, this 31st edition boasts half a million lights, 90 displays, and classic attractions like the refurbished World’s Largest Nutcracker and Dutch Bros Holiday Village for just $10 per car. Your drive-through ticket also grants free entry to the Dutch Bros Holiday Village at Riversdale Grange from November 28th to Christmas Eve. Enjoy Santa, character appearances, a model railroad, and festive trees. Families can write letters to Santa, and everyone can savor cider, hot chocolate, and treats amidst the holiday spirit.
Pastega Christmas Light Display

Experience the enchanting Pastega Christmas Light Display, a cherished Corvallis holiday tradition since 1981, taking place from Nov. 24 to Dec. 31 at the Benton County Event Center and Fairgrounds. For over four decades, the Pastega Christmas Light Display has been spreading holiday cheer in Corvallis. Dedicated volunteers contribute countless hours to adorn the fairgrounds with festive lights and captivating displays, featuring over 250 figures and mechanized scenes. The display is open daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., providing a magical spectacle for visitors to enjoy. Access the light show via the Reservoir Avenue entrance at the Benton County Fairgrounds. Admission is a canned food item for donation, adding a charitable touch to the festive experience.
ZooLights

Experience the enchantment of Zoo Lights, an annual holiday tradition at the Oregon Zoo in Portland. Watch as the zoo transforms into a magical winter wonderland, illuminated by a million lights. Over 200 animated animals playfully swing through trees, jump across lawns, and appear in unexpected places. From swinging monkeys to diving penguins, each display tells a story, creating a perfect setting for photos with a dozen animal light sculptures. Anticipated eagerly each year, Portland’s Zoo Lights event brings joy to children with its sparkling lights, animated exhibits, and charming zoo trains. (November 19 – january 7)
Venta Light parade

Celebrate the season at the 20th annual light parade organized by the Veneta-Fern Ridge Chamber of Commerce. Immerse yourself in the charm of a small-town parade featuring creatively decorated fire trucks, cars, floats, and holiday-adorned animals as they wind their way through downtown!The parade kicks off with staging at 8th St & Jack Kelly Dr. From there, the festive floats will follow a route that includes a right turn onto Territorial Hwy, followed by a right on Hunter Ave, right on 3rd St, right on McCutcheon Ave, left on 2nd St, left on West Broadway, and ultimately concluding on 8th St. Join in the merriment and enjoy the lively procession of holiday spirit! Creswells winter lights parade and holiday market

Join the Creswell Winter Lights, a delightful community celebration ushering in the winter season with a full day of activities. Experience the magic with Santa visits, a festive holiday marketplace, and a dazzling holiday light parade! Mrs. Claus will enchant children with a special story time reading at the Creswell Public Library. Discover treasures at the Creswell Community Center’s holiday market, featuring gifts, food, and crafts, open from 10am to 4pm Explore the Creswell Grange Vendor Market at 298 W Oregon Ave from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and don’t miss the Presbyterian Church Women’s County Store at 75 S 4th St, offering handcrafted items and baked goods from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Engage in the festive spirit by bidding on beautifully decorated Christmas trees during the silent auction at the Masonic Lodge, open from 10am to 7pm Cap off the day with the highlight—a joyful Light Parade down Oregon Ave at 5 p.m., accompanied by live music on Oregon Ave and 1st St! Come and be part of the winter wonder at Creswell Winter Lights.
